Philip's Final Blog

(The blog entry as shown below is actually wrtten in Philip's point of view and this is also his last blog entry before leaving for his new school. His ex-teachers from Harrison High such as Miss Narwin, Coach Jamison, superintendent Albert and other characters' comments are written below his blog entry.)

His last blog entry is as follow:

Why did I do it?

Time flies in a blink of eye and I was transferred to Washington Academy. Sometimes, I will ask myself whether I really wanted all this. When I was still in Harrison School, I was rather...... confused of my feelings and my views on Miss Narwin. Puzzled, I did not know whether I am doing the right thing. Although my parents had given me huge support in the case of suspending me for singing the "star-spangled banner", I am still not too sure this was all I wanted...... But what was done was already done. At the start of this case when I was singing the national anthem, my intention was just to play around but I did not know it would turn out so serious. I actually wanted to just show how reasonless the school rule is but I did not expect Miss Narwin to be greatly affected by the media as the news publicised. Moreover, what I really wanted was to learn from Miss Narwin' s literature class. I did not expect all these to happen...... Now, it is too late for me to do anything......There is change of school...... and losing all my friends. If I would have the chance to return to that day when I was intending to sing the national anthem, I would not have done this...... But things cannot be changed now......

Philip, I feel that I am really not a suitable teacher for you after all this incident. I hope you will excel in Washington Academy.

Comment by Coach Jamison
Dear Philip, I really hope that you can apologise to Miss Narwin and I feel that it is never too late. Miss Narwin is actually a great teacher and you should not blame her for not getting into the track team. I really hope you can change for the better. Coach Jamison.

Comment by Superintendent Albert
Dear Philip, I am Dr Seymour Albert, superintendent of Harrison School and I am writing this comment on behalf of Dr Joseph Palleni. I feel that it is needless for this incident if you did not create any misunderstandings between the media and the school. Anyway, I stiil think that you can do something or apologise to Miss Narwin who had resigned recently. I am not helping Miss Narwin but I feel that you should do something about this. But nevertheless, I hope you can strive for the best in your new school.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr Seymour Albert, Superintendent and Dr Joseph Palleni, vice-principal of Harrison School
